How would you like to spend your weekend? I vote for rolling around in dirt trenches trying not to get sniped by some 10 year-old w/ an automatic paintball rifle! Ames organized a group of ten NI-types to play some paintball this past weekend at
Texas Paintball. Pretty awesome, we went through tons of paint. and I looked like Predator with my Brazillian do-rag hanging out the back of my protective mask. For being a big target, I made it out pretty well; only getting one nasty welt which has given me a '3rd nipple' on my right side. Suffice it to say I have taken 3 showers in the past 24 hours trying to cleanse myself of the grime and brambles and everything else that shows its ugly head after a dogfight in the hill country. "Let loose the dogs of war!"

Click here to take out your frustrations against the feline kind
If you are a cat lover, please do not -- I repeat
DO NOT click the above link. It is a sweet flash game to play, but beware you may kill a whole lot of time trying to beat the record. Mine is 880 feet, c'mon fools try and take that record down. Please leave a comment if you can beat that mark!

Have any of you laides ever met Ron Mexico? If you have, I'm sorry to say that you might have captured an STD. But on the other hand, you also might have gotten with Michael Vick, the star quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons NFL team.
Read this article exposing Michael Vick for passing on STD's and using the alias: Ron Mexico Wow now that's a sketchy alias to use: Ron Mexico. Wow. But hey, check out
These characters that are making money selling Ron Mexico memorabilia . For whatever reason, they cannot sell the Vick Jersey w/ the Ron Mexico nameplate anymore. I can't believe this news story blew by me, I had to inform the rest of the world :)

The Bob Marley Festival on Auditorium shores in Austin takes place this weekend from noon to 10pm Saturday and Sunday. It's so close to my apartment, I can't think of an excuse not to go. Entrance to the festival is only $7 w/ 2 can of food -- which is more my style after the debauchary of the past week in Lake Charles (gambling and drinking, gambling and drinking). Come on down if you'd like, hang out, hacky sack, frisbee, eat overpriced carnavale food -- it will be great.
Oh yeah, and on a separate note:
GO DENVER NUGGETS!!!

In honor of the passing of Amanda M. Martinez on to a better and more fulfilling life abroad in Tokyo, I would like to dedicate the 'Travel Resource' links at the left to her fond memory as a permanent US resident. I will continue to add links that are helpful to Americans doing the right thing and getting the hell outta dodge. Mandy, may your travels be long and many, and your stories accumulate faster than March birthday snow in Colorado. Cheers :)

New Photo Album PostedNew QuickTime Movie Posted:
Short Video (1 min)
For many of my avid readers this may come as a shock -- but I went skydiving for the first time a few weeks ago! And because I love reliving things, I had a DVD and photos taken during my freefall. Thanks to JR in my group at work, I now have posted the videos here on the sight for your viewing pleasure. In addition, I also posted the stills in the gallery. Everyone should skydive at least once in their lives -- wow. Simply wow. Scared the crap outta me :)
