New Photo Album Posted
For those handful of Spurs fans out here, here are some photos to commemorate their lame-ass victory over the Nuggets. Next up we have some photos from our visit to the Riverwalk and to the Alamo. Fast forward from here to last Thursday's rap show at Emo's with Aesop Rock and Mr. Lif, and we seal up the album with some pics from the Humphrey House Pajama Party. Good times were had by all, and to all a good night.
Note once again that since working on Saturdays spent at the office have become more common, my blogging has become less common. Stay tuned in though, cause in 10 days the work goes byebye and my international travles begin anew!

Here is a perfect example of high school basketball tactics at their worst. (reminiscent of Weld Central if you're an Estes Park bball native). This Vermont HS game was won by a 3 pointer at the buzzer -- the first half buzzer. The final score was 5-2. The coaches had some kind of weird hold-the-ball type strategy in which they would score and then hold the lead the rest of the game. An embarassment to HS basketball fans everywhere; but give the coach some credit -- they notched the win!

Before and after pictures of an Indonesian Island
This site did some before/after shots of satelite images in Indonesia -- this first one is particularly alarming. Completely washed away...
Note: Sorry about the lull in blogging lately, long hours at work are to blame. Rio is coming up soon though, so there will be blogging-a-plenty during that adventure!

Here's a random selection of some long overdue pictures! First up we have the infamous Lake Charles trip where we all won $500. OK that is a lie, we all lost our asses. Wait, I mean everyone won a little bit but me :( Then, there's some pictures from Keeler's Pre-Birthday 'Ski' Trip. The skiing did not happen due to many cancellations, freezing cold, and my drinking induced illness. Don't miss pics when Gillis returns to Pearl Street, where subplots were flying all over the place.

It should be a fantastic weekend for Denver sports fans (living in Austin, Texas). Saturday, I'm rounding up a crew to invade San Antonio and watch the NBA game: Denver Nuggets vs. San Antonio Spurs at 12:30pm. Looking like 8 people might be coming which is freakin great! There's a chance at least Deanna and I might stay in SA that night and enjoy what the riverwalk has to offer (never seen it myself).
Then throw in the Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts NFL playoff game on Sunday, oh yes! For any interested parties, come down to Woodrow's on 6th Street, mention jumphook.com or dogracer.com to Jessica behind the bar and you will get $2 Lonestar beers during the game. The game starts at noon, there should be plenty of places to sit. And stand. And cheer. (and cry, possibly). GO BRONCOS!
